Stanford Campus Photoshoot Release I

From the exquisite lighting that cast a warm glow and a cold shadow, to the mysteries of manmade creation surrounded by the natural, this photoshoot has opened my eyes to new possibilities in the realm of architecture photography. The mundane turned exciting is usually thought of as abstract photography. Think of a simple photograph consisting of just a wall of colors. This is known to be abstract. Yet, this idea of transforming simple objects and compositions into art expands beyond abstractualization. This was something I learned firsthand, as I discovered an abundance of opportunities for complex photos of simple subjects.

However, the photoshoot was more than an exploration, it was truly a journey. Looking back at the captures I see details I had not noticed, nor would have remembered. And without an artist's eye, these mundane creations go unnoticed to the vast majority of people. What do you see every day that goes unnoticed?
